The project develops solutions for passive and active data collection of cancer patients, real-time monitoring of disease and treatment progress during (and after) the COVID-19 pandemic, using artificial intelligence methods to identify the patient’s physical and psychological state, thus personalising the treatment process. As most of the data will be collected passively, it will not require any additional effort from the patients and will reduce the need for them to visit the treatment facility (which is particularly relevant in the case of pandemics). The system will capture data continuously, but doctors will only be informed when certain changes are identified, or when problematic situations are identified, which will allow doctors to have more information about the patient and the course of treatment and disease, but the solution will save doctors’ time by highlighting only important data and events. Components of the solution that are not directly related to cancer treatment can be easily adapted to the treatment of other diseases.
